Toni and I did Camp Go a little over a week ago and although we had a blast, I was flat out EXHAUSTED! I really do have a new respect for working moms....I couldn't do it. Granted running an adventure day camp is not your typical desk job, but when I came home all I wanted to do was shower and sleep and poor Owen just wanted me to play and hold and love him. And of course I did, because I missed that little guy all day, every day I was gone. I don't know how those who work all day do it...come home, cook dinner, play, bathe the kid, and put the him down by a decent hour. Owen's bed time is between 7:30-8:00pm and he was up to at least 9:00/9:30pm all week, because I honestly just couldn't get all done in time. Then I'd go to bed and I felt like would just as I closed my eyes, it was time to get up.
We all survived! Owen loved having Grandma Claudia to play with all day and I knew I didn't have to worry about him at all, which makes doing camp all that easier.
Anyway, we're getting ready for baby brother and although we still have about four months, I know it's going to be here before I know it, so I'm preparing early. We've officially moved Owen into his new room and now I'm organizing all the baby, baby stuff so that we know what have and what we need, well in advance!
