I don't even know where to start. It's so impossible to believe that we've only had Owen for two years, because it feels like we've never been without him. I still stare at him for hours everyday in wonderment. I still hold him for as long as he'll let me. I still cover him in millions of kisses each and every day. I cannot imagine any of this getting old.
I love when hugs me and says "I love my momma"! I especially love when he asks "Momma need a kiss?". I love it even more when he goes to Matt and says "I love my dada." He's so incredibly sweet and sincere, I hope that never changes.
I want to remember everything about him right now, because it's all so great. I hate when I see people with older kids and they say "I don't even remember them ever being that young!" I want to remember his sweet little smile and his crazy giggle and his fast little run/sprint and all his little phrases (Hi Honey, I don't like it, Kiss the belly?, A what you doing?). I'm so impressed with everything he can say and do. He can count to at least 10 and sometimes higher, he knows his ABCs, loves to sing any all songs, knows all the colors and the order of the rainbow (thanks Signing Times) and really does say something new every day.
I absolutely think he's the greatest little thing of all time.
Happy Birthday Owen Wayne, we love you with our whole hearts!

It's Stolen, but I don't care!
I don't know when Owen stole this from one of Grandma Claudia's toy baskets or how got into our bags but it suddenly appeared one evening and I can't say that I'm disappointed! Check out these dance moves!
This kid is fantastic!

Birthday Parties!
This is the first year we've been invited to birthday parties! I think they're great fun. The first on tap was Warner, from our playgroup. Held at Lemos farm (where went pumpkin picking) it was sooo much fun! The bounce house was by far the favorite activity of the day, but there were pony rides, playgrounds to climb, goats to feed, chickens to see and so much more!

More of Owen's dancing!
This is at a recent playgroup and Owen ran around the yard singing. He particularly liked singing right in Jacob's face. I think the song went something like this "aaah ahhh ahhhh". He wrote it himself!

Owen gets his groove on!
The past few months, Owen has really started to get into music. He loves to sing, dance and play the guitar. Jacob, who has always been into music, has a few guitars at his house.
Owen played this one for a good hour! He thought that rug was his stage and he gave us a good show. He loves it so much, Jacob gave him one for Christmas! Now the two can start their garage band (in Angela's garage)!

Here are a few more pictures of him rocking out! Jacob has chocolate on his face, not joining KISS!
Jacob is clearly lead vocals!
Now I need to catch him singing on video!
