Legos!

We recently went to a car dealership to check out a car. We're in need of replacing our nearly 10 year old vehicles that are falling apart. Although we won't buy new or most likely off a lot, we wanted to check a couple of things out on a couple of cars. But that's not the point of this post.

With Owen, we can't all test drive so while Matt went on a test drive Owen and I went inside where we found a lego table and let me tell you the kid plopped himself down and quietly, busied himself until it was time to literally drag him away.

So of course, Matt wants to fuel the fire. The next day we go to the Lego Store in the mall and contemplate all the options. Until I say that we should look on Ebay and get them used, because legos in the store are surprisingly expensive, about $30 for 200 pieces or 1 pound. Well that put the man on a mission.

A few days later we are proud owners of 7 pounds of legos for about $40 and it's probably about 1500 pieces!!! The boys have really spent a good amount of time building houses, cars, helicopters and garages together, it's really, really cute!

But be warned, if you come over, wear shoes, because those little suckers hurt like hell when you step on them and there are some teeny tiny pieces that are easily lost on our carpets!
