I like to look back at posts a year ago....just for comparison of how our life has changed and May of 2009 had a potty training attempt! Unsuccessful, obviously. Owen is now pretty much completely day potty trained. He wears underwear and has very few accidents. If does have an accident, it's at the gym. I just don't think they can react fast enough for him (since there are up to 60 kids in there at a time).
The whole #2 situation is another story. He HATES it. And he'll tell you so. He tries to hold it as long as humanly possible and then SCREAMS the whole time he's going. On several occasions, he'll sit on the toilet, just to get up after not going and poop his pants less than 60 seconds later. It's mighty frustrating.
I'm not even trying for naps or nighttime yet. Anytime he's gone diaperless while sleeping he wakes up soaked and pissed and frankly, it's not worth the tantrum to me.
But he's getting there. He'll get there.
