Nathan is three! The thing with Nathan, is he is a breeze. I could not ask for a happier, friendlier, sweeter little guy! He is thoughtful and caring and helpful and loving and accepting and an amazing little guy.
He loves his family and his little life and appreciates it all so much. He introduces himself as “Owen’s brother” when we volunteer at Owen’s school. He misses Matt throughout the day and will say “I’m sad about daddy” when he remembers he’s at work. When we do a group hug or all snuggle on the couch he gets all giddy and says “faaaammmily” with such love it absolutely melts your heart. He will randomly say “we’re having a good day mommy”! We are so lucky to have his big heart in our family!!
He had several spectacular birthday celebrations! He had been looking forward to his SUPER HERO party for weeks, since Owen kept “planning” activities for it!
It did NOT disappoint! He had a day to remember! And true to his personality, soaked in every second.
We had so many friends join us in the celebration and Nathan kept saying “All my friends sure love me!”
Toni and her two sweethearts, Scarlett & Delany!
Jacob (aka Batman) decorating his cape! I loved having Jacob there because he made sure he complete all the activities and since Joe and I had worked so hard to put them together, we loved having a very active and enthusiastic participant!
Thanks Jake!
Nathan also did it all!
I cannot NOT post my favorite picture! Angela came appropriately in costume as Super Girl, from a costume shower and it made my day!
My happy, happy birthday boy!
It wouldn’t be a Robins’ birthday party if we didn’t have cupcakes that stain your face, teeth and entire house!
Matt and his Super Boy!
Then it was time for presents and Owen wanted them ALL open right away, but Nathan wanted to open and enjoy each gift.
The bat cave from Grandma was a HUGE hit and has provided hours of entertainment for both boys!
Then he got to celebrate his birthday at school!
And then one more time with Nana.
Dressed as Thor, no less!
Loving his new “smart phone” from Nana!
Finishing the night with a some light reading.
Then to our surprise, Nathan decided to sleep in his NEW bed, the lower bunk in Owen’s room!
And they both fell right asleep!
Turning 3 is exhausting for everyone!
