Countdown to ONE

It's impossible to believe that next month at this time Nathan will be one year old! One full year!

He has really gained a personality this past month. I think the walking has really made him realize that he is his own person and he can do his own thing. It's hysterical. He's a busy little fellow. If you thought Owen was busy, you'll be completely worn out by Nate. This kid toddles around the house non-stop. He loves to carry stuff, always has something in his hands. Talks (babbles) all the time, has full on conversations, hand gestures and all. He's also started to get real mad when he doesn't get what he wants. This is new. If you offer him a cracker and it's not what he wanted, he'll take it from you, THROW it and then yell about it! My favorite is when he sits in v-formation with those short little legs and then lays his head down between them (babies are flexible like that) and cries, while shaking his head NO. As if to say "she just doesn't get it"! Makes me laugh every time.

He's still fantastic. He's still so easy to make laugh. He still loves Owen and Jack. His naps this past month have been terrible, I hope it's a phase. He still only has two teeth. He dances to anything. Loves balls, cars and anything he can push. Prefers to be outside and if there is dirt and/or water, all the better (I don't even try to keep a clean shirt on the kid anymore).
Frankly, we can't get enough!
A few of his favorite things:
Breakfast!
Working!
Carrying stuff!

We love you baby boy!
