Time is such a strange thing. On one hand it seems like yesterday that Nathan joined our family, that there is no way FIVE whole months have come and gone. On the other hand how could it be only five months ago when I feel like he's been here forever! 5 months ago feels like ages ago and 10 minutes ago simultaneously.
Nathan Henry is the happiest baby I've ever seen. Even if he's sick or really mad you can still always and easily make him smile. Whenever I go get him from his crib, he instantly stops crying and smiles, as if to say "Oh thank goodness, you heard me, I'm so glad you're here!"
I love him to pieces. Itty bitty pieces.
He had his 5 month appointment lately and here are his official stats:
- 17.7 lbs
- 26 inches long
His unofficialy stats:
- He wears 6 month plus clothes.
- He sleeps well at night, usually from 6:30pm - 7am getting up between 4-5am to eat.
- He takes 3 or 4 naps a day. Still 30 minutes long, unless we snuggle on the couch.
- He laughs if you tickle his arm pits or kiss his neck.
- He is working hard on crawling but has no desire to sit up unassisted.
- He still loves that doorway jumper and little interest in the playmat (except trying escape it).
