Push, Hit, Kick, Throw

I suppose it's nice that you get a warning, but Owen's latest thing is to say "push" and then walk right up to you and push you. Or at a playgroup, some kid. Boy, girl, bigger, smaller, it doesn't matter, he's not afraid to take you down. That goes for the other action words as well. If you hear "kick" watch your shins people. "Throw" and heads up folks. "Hit" well it's rare you can escape the punch in time. It appears that we're raising a bully. Don't worry, I'm taking action. We've started the dreaded "time-out". So far, he thinks it's a game, but I'm hoping it'll sink in and start to work.

I can tell you most of the parents of the recipients of Owen's aggression are none too pleased. We are not popular in playgroups right now, we've even had to leave a few early.

Let's cross our fingers that this is a phase, a fast moving, over in a flash, phase.
